Hi, everyone. I would like someone to consider writing a fanfic about Lara Croft. Of course it should be an Adult+++ story. However, I would VERY appreciate it if it wasn't a story like the others that are on this site. I'm trying to explain what exactly I have in mind. Most stories contain elements such as humilation, degradation, various BDSM fetishes and rape. Generally speaking, there is always coercion, in the sense that Lara is forced to do some indecent things. And these are exactly the kinds of things that shouldn't be present in the story that I would like to read. Not at all. There is a story, namely "Tomb Raider: The Braid Of Aphrodite -:- By: Muhabba", in this story there is a gangbang scene that I really liked, although there are numerous other elements that I don't like at all but that's not the point. In this scene, Lara is portrayed exactly as I would like her to be. This casual slutiness of Lara was incredibly hot. I would love to read a story like that, a story in which Lara is a willing, incredibly wanton slut. The sluttier the better. BUT!!! Not one who is obsessed with sex and cocks or who actively and desperately looks for opportunities to fuck as much as possible. But someone who doesn't mind WHEN the opportunity arises. And please, no schoolgirl/cheerleader cosplays and no BS like "I'm a naughty girl for you, Daddy" because honestly, I find that sort of thing ridiculous and also pretty creepy. The whole thing should (but doesn't have to) take place in the last reboot, but I'll leave the decision to the author. When it comes to my personal fetishes, it would be really cool if the story included elements like gangbangs with double/triple (or more?) penetration, throat and belly bulging, fisting, cuminflation and bestiality followed by pregnancy but it depends if the author wants to include it at all. If not, then not. A happy ending, a real one, would be the cherry on the cake for Lara. The world is grim enough, at least let Lara be happy in LitPorn.

You’re likely damned if you do, damned if you don’t, write it generically, bit watered down, for a wider audience. Throw in kinks, triggers? That’ll attract some folks, and discourage others. Suppose if you do it scientifically, put out multiple stories, see which one attracts the most hits/engagement.

I’ve moved this post to a more appropriate thread. Now to the question. The first thing is to identify the best websites for your content. For example, certain sites have content restrictions. Here on AFF, our Terms of Service and Content Guidelines are pretty clear, and spell out what we do and don’t allow. But if a site doesn’t allow, for example, fiction based on actual persons or celebrities, posting a story about a real person or celebrity isn’t going to go over well. Once you’ve figured out what site or sites best suit your content, you need to make sure your story is going to attract readers and hold their attention. If you are able to post a summary, make it catchy. Spend a bit of time reading book summaries and blurbs to see what the professionals do. PROOFREAD AND FORMAT your story. Nothing is a bigger turn-off than typos, misused words, missing punctuation, poor grammar (unless it’s required for a piece of dialogue), and walls of text. I’ve put down published books that I paid for, and refused to finish reading them because of poor editing. You might be posting something online for free, but I truly think you still need to polish your story. Some sites, like AFF, have forums or community boards where you can promote your story. If that’s available, use it. Include the catchy blurb, story tags, and all the other things that might catch a reader’s attention. AFF does not support cover images in the archive, and we don’t allow images in the forum that are NSFW, but some sites do allow cover images. We use our forums to allow readers to engage with authors, while other sites let you reply to reviews directly. That’s what comes to mind for now.
