Shame on me. Naruto and Sasuke have been together on the DL since high school, but Naruto wants more out of his relationship with Sasuke, who refuses because of daddy issues. He eventually ends up marrying Sakura, who’s super excited and doesn’t realize her husband is gay af and cheating on her with Naruto. Later we find out she made a deal with her dad, and Naruto meets Neji and tries a healthier relationship, but still pines after Sasuke, and Sasuke pines after Naruto… lots of pining, lol.
