The first is a man and a merman. The man meets the merman on a ship. The man thinks the merman is just a rich guy in a wheelchair and they become friends. The merman falls in love and reveals himself but the man reacts badly. This is where my memory gets fuzzy. The man returns to his village but the merman threatens to destroy his village unless the man gives himself up. The merman ends up keeping the man in an underwater cave. Something like that… The second pairing involves the merman’s brother who is the ruler of the sky and his own reluctant lover who is able to run away by switching bodies with some one else, but the sky-ruler dude knew all along and goes down to earth to fetch him? I hope this rings a bell with anyone. I would be super grateful and amazed if someone knew what I was talking about and is able to interpret my foggy rambling. Thanks in advance!!
