AU: Kag is a doctor and Inu protects the city

Can't remember the title or author. Story starts off with Kagome being summoned by Miroku (I think) in the middle of the night to come treat his friend (inuyahsa) who is injured. She is a doctor in a clinic and Inu, Miroku, and Sango fight to protect the city they live in. When she stays with him, he grabs her while he's passed out because he recognizes her scent. She also volunteers at an orphanage that kaede runs and where shippo lives.
