Instead of Cerberus, a secret organisation of Human Supremacists, the rogue group spread across Alliance space is Echidna, a group that experiments on Human Women to make them the broodmothers of bio-weapons, or monsters.

 

Jane Shepard has been upgraded so she can be bred by anything the galaxy throws at her, and she's eager to have her female crew upgraded to similar fertility compatibility.
