Adding additional tags?

During the course of writing my story, I came up with extra ideas for scenes that weren't originally planned and I didn't tag. There's a self-harm scene during a dream sequence, and some children get blown up and burned but are resurrected later. How do I add tags? Originally, it was a dropdown menu and I could click whatever I needed, but now it's a box I have to type in and I'm not familiar with the acronyms associated with fanfiction. I'm writing my first story and don't want to type the wrong abbreviation into the box. I'm assuming self-harm is probably something like S-H? I figured I'd ask before I get flagged for not tagging stuff.
