Unaware to he discovered an energy more powerful than aura Cosmo when he ran into an Ursa Major, Jaune becomes amazed by the power coming off of himself feeling like he could move mountains. This burst of power startles many people in remnant such as Salem and ozpin who want to know where and what this power was that rivals the maidens in power. after this first burst of Cosmo his aura had awakened from the essence that it spawns from. Once he gets his bareings decides to travel and improve his control of this power he will travel around remnant seeking to improve his skills and make a name for himself along the way jaune must still go to becon academy salem can be his ancestor he and Whitley could meet in atlas and become friends he learns about the maidens and magic from Amber Quote
