Live Dolls

I am looking for a story that was m/m. One of the main characters was very wealthy and was able to purchase “dolls” that acted like real humans but could be deactivated at any time. The other main character was poor and came to the first one for help and was given a job. The two begin to develop feelings, and there is a discussion of buying a doll for the poor character. I think they end up buying a guy doll, but the wealthy main character gets jealous and makes sure it can’t be used for sex. The wealthy main character also has one particular doll (It think her name was Miriam) who is acting abnormally – she is acting aggressive towards the newcomer and very jealous, as well as not deactivating when told. I remember one scene where she had dismembered another doll who was chosen over her to go to an event. The main characters resolve to look into those types of dolls, as Miriam is one of the oldest models.
