The Story of Braith:a Pillars of Eternity romance

This is a fanfiction based on the game Pillars of Eternity (a modern fantasy game inspired by 90s-era CRPGs). Sadly the game does not contain romance so I am writing this story to explore the relationship between Aloth, an elven wizard and an original character of my own creation (in the role of the player character). There are currently 7 chapters. Chapter 8 is in progress.

Title: The Story of Braith

Summary: Essentially a re-telling of the main events of Pillars of Eternity with more attention to sex and romance. Some characters may receive more or less attention than they were given in the game. The story will be exploring some potentially disturbing themes surrounding abuse but my goal is for it to ultimately be uplifting and tender/romantic.

I should clarify that what I mean by "rape" in the warnings section is more of a thematic issue regarding a character's sense of self vis a vis others and the ambiguity of the meaning of consent under such circumstances. For better or worse, the story does not contain rape as an outright sexual assault.

Chapter 9 is now available. In this chapter our heroine learns that a wizard's grimoire is a powerful tool. And that reading can be fun!
