One man lived by a lake and does pearl diving. Another can turn into a wolf(?). Lothlalander or Locklalander was one of the names of the place. They become bound together even though they don't want to. One of the missions has to do with one of the characters dressing up as a woman. And this character gets thrown into the Void or something like that. If someone could help me find this story. I read it forever and a half ago but now that I have thought about it, I am obsessed to find it. Quote

Then they are bound as "brothers in arms" and sent to help protect the land. There are 4 in the group and pair up. The pairing is done when they are bound and it can become sexual. They get some time off and go to the village of on the four and celebrate a festival. One of the characters gets thrown into a "void" to be punished and gets kidnapped by a god or something while in there. Quote
