The story is about a boy who takes his fathers ship and encounters a ship he believes he captured. But the ships captain only leads him to believe he captured his ship. Then the captain and his crew turns into giants who "eat" (and if I remember correctly the boys crew is working for the captain and pretends to be eaten) the boys crew members. The boys father hears about the abduction and sails to find him. The captain and the boy starts to get closer. And the captain has a giant turtle that the he and the boy uses to get to shore.
