cannot change the font size

I am using my nokia lumia to read the stories from this site. But for some reasons i cannot change the size of the font. Its too small and i can't make it bigger. Whenever i press d font button at the top of the page a + and a - sign appears but when i try to press d + button it kind of dissapears and my screen automatically focuses on the part where there is the sign of adult fanfiction. I had tried it many time but i get the same result. I don't know weather it is a technical problem or its just my phone. I'll really aapericiate it if someone could help me solve this problem.

I would do whatever it is that you do in your particular phone to expand a page. For example, on my Android, I increase size via its touchscreen.
