Hey, I'm looking for an original slash story I read several times some years ago. I spent two hours searching for it yesterday with no luck, so if anyone knows if it was removed or still here that would be really fantastic to know!

It was about a guy who was being regularly visited by some sort of invisible entity, at night, which would molest him until he came and then promptly leave. It basically made him fall apart and he's depressed.

Part of the story is from the entities' perspective and it recalls existing since the man was really really young, like at least a toddler, and the way everything in the world seemed weirdly fuzzy and untouchable except the guy. It saved him from a car when he was a kid even though it sort of resented him, since it couldn't go too far away from him without everything blurring into nothingness or something. Then it accidentally discovered that when it touched him sexually and made him come it could do the same to itself for a while so it started doing it regularly.

Eventually the guy gets super drunk and tries to hook up with a guy from the bar, bringing him home, but the entity gets mad and grabs the other guy by the throat (to its own shock since normally it can't touch other stuff) and throws him out. Then something happens, it molests him or something again, and for some reason it lingers around him afterwards(normally it runs off to wank) and realizes he's begging it to at least stay so it does so. Eventually they sort of 'get together' and the guy accepts it and they have lots of consensual sex, the guy is happier in life, etc.

One day it says something to him ('I love you' or something I think) which is shocking for both of them since it's never been able to speak before. Suddenly it disappears, experiences some sort of hellish landscape, and reappears in the house as a human guy, covered in blood. He's shocked, it's shocked. He gives it a bath, discovers it's oversensitive to everything in it's new body like noise and light and temperature. He tries to go to work but it freaks out all scared since it's never been able to leave him before. He stays home or something. I think that's where the story ended (it seemed unfinished.).

I was looking for this same story today when I ran into this forum post. While a year late I hope this answer helps you. The story is still up. It's called "Imaginary Friend" by Lunarwench. Happy re-reading!
