So on another website I have been participating in a one on one roleplay and I thought the story that my partner and I have written together would be a great one to post. Obviously yes I have their permission to do this, but here is my question:

My partner has an account on this site, so would linking to their profile and/or stating their username in the beginning of the story be a sufficient way to give them credit?

Thank you for your time :smartass:

No, dear. You both have to supply your information to the TOS Team, granting permission to post to the posting author. Permission to post jointly is required beforehand to avoid claims of plagiarism, etc. So, your partner would need to email the TOS Team granting permission to you to post the joint work.

Other times, authors choose to create a separate "joint" account:

For joint accounts:

You understand that in order for all features of the website to be accessible, you must create a user account. You understand that only one User Account is allowed per person unless you have a joint account. Permission for joint accounts must be obtained by emailing tos_team@adult-fanfiction.org. By creating a user account, you are certifying that all information provided while creating the account is accurate and complete.

Okay thank you :) I haven't posted the story yet, so will an e-mail from my partner stating their permission and a link to my profile be alright?
