I want to search on three letter words..

Hi,

I would really like to search on three letter words (such as 'pet') on www.adult-fanfiction.org, but can't and it annoys me to no end at times :b

I know it says on aff's search page that:

"Search terms are required to have FOUR or more characters per search term."

But I don't understand why? Or is it just me who somehow misunderstood something?

Is it possible in some way to search on three letter words or can it be made possible?

You can, if you use the boolean expression and follow the instructions, and use the 3 letter word in combination with another. As a straight search, I don't see that happening, as it tends to overload the database with search queries.
