And I don't know about the Battle game suggestion. Personally, my eyebrow doesn't even quiver in interest. Then again, maybe that's because all my interest is devoted to pairings.

Even plugging it in the "Promote Your Story" forum hasn't helped. I'm not a BDSM fan myself, but it's sad that so many people won't even try a story if it has any S&M at all.

Neither, actually... My fascination is with pairing off a man with a woman. I'm a guy, and I think the biggest factor in AFF having more girls than guys is because guys tend to want to see their fantasies being played out via porn flicks, hentai manga/anime and the like. Girls probably make up for a larger portion of most readerships even when not taking BDSM or sexual motifs into account. Judging from the amount of Yaoi and Yuri here on AFF it's not hard to see why girls are so strong in numbers.

There has to be a motivation for being on AFF, like for me it was because having things down in writing leaves a lot to to the imagination, which I personally like. It's also because there are some things that you can write in AFF that will never EVER be made into a hentai anime or, god forbid, a big budget porno flick with decent acting and good production values (one can dream). I suppose that's why I write out all my fantasies and post them in AFF.
