I figured this would make excellent use of the mystery forum, I believe somebody else suggested it but I can't remember who, don't get offended but it's probably because of all that toked mj after high school. If you have any poetry or lyrics you would like to share please post them here. If you don't have any, feel free to make them up.

Anyhoo, here are some lyrics I wrote a while ago after I broke up with my ex, and I just felt they were so special I had to share them with all of you.

*********************

Lesbian Ex-con Girlfriend

*********************

From the beginning you were always wrong

You're so gay I even wrote this song

The only way we ever got along

Was with a bong

You Tinker Bell obsessed faggot

From the start oh how I loved you so

Even though you're a fag and all my friends said no

And now you're with that ex-con ho

Didn't think you could sink so low

You are such a stupid faggot

Your ass was dumber than a building block

You couldn't even work your half sized cock

You set yourself on fire making crème brûlée

'Cause you're so gay

You're even useless as a faggot

You were such a dumb fuck when you tried to rock

Everywhere we went all you got was mocked

All your lyrics were so lame and gay

I was not the only one to say

You can keep the Tink Bell oven mitts

Your cooking sucks you useless shit

But it's okay 'cause I am gone

I left your stupid dumb ass dumb fuck bu-utt

But then again maybe I am wrong

Because my hate is just so strong

Anyway, hope you have fun

With your new lezbo ex-con

Your new lesbian ex-con girlfriend

((Next line sung barber shop quartet style))

Your lezzy ex-con girlfirend!

****

END

****

Hey, that was it, hope you enjoyed it. All lyrics are copyright to me under my real name, so don't steal. Although if you live in the sf bay you and your band can make some music to it and I can come sing it live on stage. Because that sounds like fun.

AHAHAH! Oh, wow, that was great. xD

As long as it isn't sung by some whiny angst filled prostit--- Britney Spears type person, or... Really, my opinion on female singers is rather low... Anyways, it was a great read.

One of the 600.000 poems I wrote.

Two Tenths And The Beast

One tenth always was the monster...

Carrying his grin.

One my distorted reflection,

Always seems to cry.

Nine tenths is the demon,

Opposing god and

Nine tenths is the angel,

Has long since given up.

Two tenths and the beast,

Make me what I am.

Eight tenths is the beast,

Hates this world... ....

One tenth always was the monster...

Taking pride in,

Everything has fallen for him...

After everything he loved.

One tenth shall be my reflection...

Always seemed to cry,

Has never passed the monster and...

Loves all ten but one...

Two tenths and the beast,

Make me what I am.

Two tenths are the monster,

And the mirror at his side...

nah, not like that, but I'll go look for some other stuff...

Secret Pillage

Secrets left of our betrayal,

never seen again.

Secrets left to mark my win,

secrètly burden you.

One Day

One day you'll come to understand,

everything you know is wrong.

One day that day will come again,

one day: we'll hope with love and song.

Evanescent Happiness

Evanescent happiness,

is many things and merciless,

is many things and red,

the only thing that's sad.

Even after all we've said,

after all is done and dead,

after all is done to me,

tell me that there is no "we".

The Tower Man

A man atop a tower,

hears the calling of the ledge.

Where other men would cower,

he takes another step.

A man atop a tower,

seems stricken by the word.

Where other men would cower,

He falls from the world like a bird!

Echo (used to be my favorite, I just love the ending)

A girl before him,

dressed in red.

The end steps closer,

in black tred...

The words lay spoken,

can't undo.

Echoes silence,

I love you...

Mortality

Too high the cost,

of all my fear.

And now I've lost,

another year.

I want at least,

another year.

To face the beast,

of all my fear.

That was just some random stuff... I hope you like

Fire

If I call you a liar,

show me.

That liars are just fire,

burn me.

If I call out evil,

show me.

That fire's only evil,

To the forest that it burns.

I only have two, but I'm trying to make a bunch more for a scholarship competition in to college I'm attending next year. Constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated!

Poem 1

A mournful morning to wake to;

grey sunshine and hollow clouds,

the faint clandestine face of the moon.

A morning all my own, yet your memory still haunts me.

Life a mere shadow, then.

Life a grand starlight, now.

I know of your claws and fangs,

of your own dark moonface.

So why does this longing ache in my bones?

Why is this apparent now?

A mirror I urged you to hold

A mirror I so desperately desired.

These hands that held it slowly gone, slowly fade away.

A mirror shattered and broken

A mirror of a reflective cage.

Silence has fallen upon it.

Shards of starlight can be pieced together,

but they will never again make the same star.

This mirror glues together by my hand.

My hand.

A that will never fade away.

What thanks have I of you?

Of you who forgets the taste of glass?

Poem 2

What marks this moment as insincere

with withered hands itching at the broken, cracked ground,

desperately digging in the brown, dry crumbs

for some semblance of a seed.

Blue roots, blue veins spider-webbing through a blue-toned body

with dainty hands and dainty wrists

smeared across the caked brown earth.

What makes an instant as effervescent

as plastic smiles with red, red lips

and a fleeting meeting between the sheets?

A small wooden hut with an earthen floor and an earthen smell

huddled close to the edge of dark green pines and inky black trails,

waiting quietly, eternally, hopefully...

for a glimpse of a shadow of Man

to spread his heart and body and blood upon the dry mud bed

to cultivate nothing more than a single, budding seed.

When can we ever hope to return to Walden?

This is a song I wrote with the help of my dad a while back, this was during my senior year in high school english during the Anglo-Saxon unit. It's called "Beowulf & Gilgamesh"

the chord-to-chord progression is: Am, C, Dm, and E

Tempo: slow, like in the Medieval tunes we hear in Knight movies.

Verse I

Beowulf and Grendel fight

in the dead calm of the night

Before Grendel's Eyes the shine of shimmering stee

and cries behind

Chorus

Come and fight

the mighty foe

and tell the tales

that we all know

Verse II

Searching for another fight

finds the monster's mother's fright

Hrunting now a useless blade

he spies a sword the gods had made

chorus

Verse III

the dagger that was drawn did fail

against his armour made of mail

she sees the magic sword she dreads

her life then ends in bloody shreds

chorus

guitar solo before Verse IV: G, Em, A, C (x4)

Verse IV

Now another tale for you

of Gilgamesh and Enkidu(In-Ka-Du)

They journeyed to the land of trees

to force Humbaba to his knees

chorus

Verse V

Two warriors out to enhance their fame

Humbaba they were going to mame

The giant was caught and lied with ease

Humbaba's head's now in the trees.

chorus and fade out.
