Guest orleans Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 It would be interesting to read what other authors think about this interesting character. Tolkien wrote that Maglor wandered along the shore and never appeared among his kin again. I would love to read stories about what happened to him; where did he go? Where did he live? Was he alone, or did he find someone who stayed with him, accepted him? Did he use another name? Did he perhaps kill himself? There are so many interesting ways such a story could go, but unluckily I haven' t found any good stories out there... Do you know some stories, or who would be interested in accepting the challenge of writing one? Quote
DemonGoddess Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 I've actually run across a few of these. Some bring him into the present, some show some future time. There's even a series I read once quite a long time ago where he was going through time to the present, mostly as a soldier as memory serves. Quote
Guest orleans Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 Okay; I have some time this weekend. I will go looking for them Quote
Rhapsody Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 I've written several versions of his final fate, and have two longer novels in the works with yet again with a different take... Quote

Rhapsody Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 Well I love the elf! I have most of my stuf featuring him up at Quills & Ink or at the Silmarillion Writers Guild Sorry for a late reply, but I thought that would help. Quote
