Formatting Paragraphs on Mobile Devices

I read both topics—how to add a chapter and allowed HTML tags—but still can't figure out how to format paragraphs. I'm used to using my iPad to add chapters through the text area because you can't upload files from an iPad. I tried formatting the text using the methods described for the RTE and the tags, but when I preview my text, it's one big block of words. I managed to make the RTE separate from the first paragraph, but it stopped working after that. I was wondering if the HTML tags show up in the preview but work once the story is published or if there is another method for dividing paragraphs.

Okay, first of all, the archive is not optimized for use with mobile devices. Are you adding the html tags to the text area, which is actually the rich text editor? If so, that'll make for issues.

If you're typing direct in to the text area, the rte is set to act like a word processor. The enter key (carriage return) is a paragraph and inserts a paragraph marker. Ctrl+Enter is a linebreak.

I replied to this, but something happened to it. Weird...

Yes, that's what I was doing. I thought you could use the RTE to add tags. I did figure out how to divide the paragraphs though. Thanks for answering my question.

So that other users with mobile devices who may experience similar issues know, would you post what you did? I don't have an iPad to be able to work out what needs to be done (or not)

Thanks!
