Ok, so this has been happening since forever, but since I finally learned how to log in, I didn't want to push my luck.

So, I log in, then I go thru the page that gives me the option of 18 or older or younger than 18. Naturally I click on 18 or older. Then it brings me to the latest story updates, but when I click on the first story after I log in, I get the birthday verification page. If I've already logged in, (and of course by logging in I am confirming I am of age, right, since my age is in my profile?), why does the birthday verification page keep coming up?

Because it's an OLD cookie setter embedded in the old parts of the software. It won't be eliminated until the storyboarding part of the software is rewritten. You only have to do it the one time, for several months.

The old age verification page SHOULD set a cookie which means you don't need to fill it out daily. Unless of course, you've set your browser to auto clear your cookies upon exit, in which case, then yes, you'd have to.

I do delete cookies occasionally, but my internet options does NOT clear browsing history upon exit. If that were true, wouldn't I have to put in my password every day? When I log in every day, all I have to do is write the first few letters of my email and it automatically comes up with my password.

browsing history and cookies are not the same thing. It's a fairly common setting to have browsers set to clear cookies upon exit. Most browsers have an autofill option as well for passwords and such, which is saved separately from the actual cookies.
