hello all. pardon my lazy typing here, though you will find that i went to the trouble to ensure there are very few or no mistakes in my story.

i would love it if you would give my story a look. i have thane and femshep past the initial "just a friend?" stage and i go from there, but this is set during and after me2. i did NOT get into me3, because i stopped writing just before me3 came out. the story is about 2/3 complete, but i'm not sure when i will find the heart and motivation to continue. i think it is more likely that i will now that i have it posted someplace where i don't have to worry that smut could get it taken down!

i initially posted on ffn, and while i think it is very high quality, particularly in chapters 8-11 (where i had finished with me2 stuff and was writing more freely), it has not received as much traffic or love as i think it deserves. what particularly bothers me is that, as far as i can tell, most people read through chapter 7 (the me2 bossfight) and skip to 11 to see if i kill off thane. i am really disappointed by that, because it means that readers are not looking at the more original and higher quality writing in the story.

perhaps some of you will take a look?

let me also add that i didn't just type this story up and toss it out there. it consumed every waking thought i could spare for about 5 or 6 months. i don't even want to contemplate how many hours went into this, and it was edited and re-edited by myself and my beta multiple times. there is not a word, gesture, action, or suggestion in there that was not intended, and careful readers will be rewarded. it starts off typically, but i think i ultimately took an interesting view on thane's character.

thanks if you do decide to read. i've been lurking around here for 3 or 4 years, and it is nice to know there is a refuge for adult fanfic!
