Guest Alien Pirate Pixagi Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 I've had this thing since I was young where my muscles randomly twitch. This includes facial, arm and finger twitches. Just now I was watching my upper arm twitch, looking and kinda feeling like something was trying to get out. When my finger twitch, they look kinda like they're typing... which is kinda funny, really. My face it the same thing as my arm, muscles randomly contracting and releasing. For a long time I payed it little mind since, really it doesn't hurt, just feels weird. The twitching will go on until I touch the area affected, or voluntarily contract that muscle. Could that be the sign of some weird brain thing, or is that normal? Quote
Guest Evil_Labs Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 As far as I know, this is relatively common and not a problem unless it becomes uncontrollable or damaging. Quote
ZombieDuke Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 I find drinking a lot of water sometimes helps... Quote
Guest Serenanna Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 If it's that persistent, like it happens more than once a day, each day, then I'd go see a neurologist. I know one of the symptoms of some forms of Muscular Dystrophy is losing muscle control which is what they've been warning me to look out for. So you could just be a spaz, or it could be something serious. ::shrugs:: Sere Quote
