Rabukurafuto Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 Okay, so I just got an idea for some stories to post at the main site, but after thinking about it for a bit I'm wondering if they would be better served under the original fiction section rather than the anime section. Let me explain: A while back I started some stories at FanFiction.Net based on Makoto Raiku's Konjiki no Gash! (known as Zatch Bell! in English). For the most part these stories consisted of characters I created myself rather than the canon cast (there's a lot of room in this series to create your own characters), and lately I had the urge to put these characters into more erotic and sexual situations. The problem is that the way I'm imagining these stories right would leave no room for any of the canon characters and trying to fit them in would feel contrived. But AdultFanFiction.Net readers want to read about their favorite canon characters screwing each other. The only thing connecting my stories to the main series is the same overall plot (one hundred Devil children come to the World of Humans to find human partners for a Highlander-esque battle) as the background. So what do you guys think? Should I write my stories as Gash! fics or should I change a few details and submit them as original fiction? Is this even the right place to ask? If anyone wants to read the FanFiction.Net stories that these stories will be based on see "Kokushoku no Foncé!" and "Sekishoku no Miel!". Quote
Emi Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 I think changing a few details and putting it under the "Original Section" would be better unless you are willing to change your original characters into actual canon characters. It does not really count as a fanfiction if you are using your own characters and putting them in a similar situation parallel to the canon plot. :x Seems more original than a fanfiction to me. Quote
Rabukurafuto Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 I just went ahead with original, but thanks for the input. Quote
