searching for story,--Resistance is Futile

I'm looking for a story titled "Resistance is Futile". A mother gives away/sells her teenage son to a wealthy man. I think the boy's name is Dante but I'm not certain. Does anyone know what happened to it?

I hate when writers they do that without giving an explication to the loyal people that follow their stories.

It's a lack of respect, even when I understand that it's 'their' stories.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that wasn't the case. I really liked that story. I wish the author would re-post it and finish it.
