forum log-in issues

Hm. I have an author panel option under members, so I appear to be logged in, but when I went to create a review reply thread on the forums, I am not showing as logged in. Ack, since my sole reviewer thus far for my maiden story has been giving me fabulous concrit, and I want to reply like a friendly author, which I am, actually.

Someone tell me what I am doing wrong, and why I seem to be having so many issues. Honestly, I'm usually much better at these things.
