Who would you pick as the biggest lush in anime today? Some female who drinks like a fish and gets really plastered a lot?

I'd have to say overall, Tina Foster from Ai Yori Aoshi is the biggest one.

Others worth mentioning are:

1. Rio Kinezono from the Burn up! series

2. Weda from Hare and Guu

3. Forte Stollen from Galaxy Angel

Oh ya definatly Misato yep.

Have you ever seen Yusuke's mom Asuka on Yu yu Hakusho? She's definatly a lush. In fact, Yusuke even quotes it in his fight with Sensui.

I also have to vote Misato from NGE. That woman had more beer than food in her fridge even after Shinji moved in. Though, towards the end of the series, we didn't see drink as much.
