Happy Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for?

I just wanted to wish everyone here a happy Thanksgiving.

I have a few things that I need to be thankful for.

I have my faith, which keeps me goin in this world when every instinct tells me it would be easier to quit.

I have my family. Granted, for the most part, they may not be considered "real" family, but there are bonds that are tighter than blood. A true family sticks together, and those are the ones I call my "family".

I am thankful that I have a place to live. There was a time in my life that I did not have that. I am blessed to have such a place to call home now.

Finally, I am thankful for AFF. I have found so many stories to read, as well as a place for me to post some of my writings. Your all almost like a second family to me.

For all this, I say a prayer of thanks.

In these tough times, that I am employed. There's a lot to be said for having a job, when jobs are scarce.

I can relate to that. I have friends who have lost their jobs due to the economy causing shutdowns and downsizing.
