this guy was a con-artist and a social worker comes by and he finds out he has a daughter with this girl peggy that he used to see but she died of cancer before she could get treatment, and he can keep her if her brother approves of the way he's raising the girl who is like 5 or 6 theirs a nanny somewhere along the line and the now excon-artist ends up falling for peggys brother who owns a big food company and the excon works there coming up with strange but good dishes that they use for catering. im pretty sure it was posted here the story was completed i remember that much.
