From address in review e-mails

Hi, I'm liking the site for the most part. I noticed that several of the admin e-mails sent to me were shown as from "AFF.net." I turned on review notifications and have noticed that they all go to my spam filter, probably because "adult-fanfiction.org" in the from address is policy blocked by Gmail (I'd imagine in other clients as well). Would it be too big a request to ask that those come from "AFF.net" instead? Thanks.

I could look in to aliasing, but the mail server is for adult-fanfiction.org. If your spam filter is seeing it as spam, you need to unblock it, and tell your spam filter it is not.

I have gmail and never have a problem, everything gets through for me. So you might want to go into your settings and check things.

I have multiple gmail addresses that receive mail from aff and I never have problems. One thing you can try is creating a filter.

If you go to settings in gmail, then select Filters. At the bottom, create new and then in the from field, put adult-fanfiction.org and then on the next screen, check the box that says 'never send it to spam' that way you can see if you get it. maybe try sending yourself a review afterwards to see if you get it.

I don't know if it'll work, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I deal with this e-mail stuff at work all the time (customers not getting things), so I just wanted to make sure it wasn't happening a ton.
