Well, a lot of FF VII has been clarified or fixed over from its botched English translation and alterations.

Unfortunately, this also screwed over Cloud's character, Jenova, and Aerith as well. Nice. I love to find out that the characters I like are just chumps. Ah well. At least VIII, VI, and IV are still badass (among others).
