Nightmare Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Thanks to BittorrentĀ , I've seen the first season of "Wolverine and the X-men" cartoon. It's just started here in the States on Nickolodeon, but there was an English Language version that just finished airing the first season of in Canada. It's closer to the Comics that Evo was, but some Evo stuff did make it thru via the comics. (For instance, X-23 was intro'd in Evo, but the Comics picked her up for the mainstream continuity, and she makes an appearance-or-4 in W&tX-Men.) Most of the chars are adults, and there's no High School drama this time around. They cover several story arcs from the last 20+ years of comics, including some they really didn't give enough attention too. (Like the Hellfire arc, who was what and what were their backstories? Viewers who didn't already know would be left without a clue.) Storm's "nephew" Spike was disappeared, and his powers given back to Marrow, who has an important story arc. Lorna Dane's character is a lot different than I'm used to, and some other character's histories and motivations have gotten quite a shift for this show (Raven Darkholme, for one). Anyone watching it? (Or getting it on BitTorrent?) What do you think? Quote
