There's a topic on how long a fic can acceptably be, but what about styles that focus on brevity? Twitterfiction attempts to tell a complete story in 140 characters or less while a microfiction does so in less than 750 words. Do either of these have much of a place on a site that specializes in erotica, where a fairly lengthy description is more proper to post?

As someone who has never gotten a second review on anything, I appreciate any little bit of review I get. However, the Rate system isn't all that helpful in my case. My profile's a collection of 5 star and 2 star reviews. Most of the 2 star ratings have gone to the violent and gory fics, but with no reviews, I can't tell if I'm just bad at writing gore, I'm offending a couple of people's delicate sensibilities, or I'm not giving fair enough warning beforehand in the summary.

I'm here for a bit of both actually. I originally ventured on in here for some constructive criticism, hoping that gaining an audience capable of such would boost my ego enough to continue producing. Now, well, there's not much pressure to continue on without someone else. I really should advertise around here more though.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I think this is the most relevant place to ask this in. I'm awful at story codes and find it a bit overwhelming to find every last tag that could be applied to a potential upload, even to the point where I'm not sure if I should upload anything. How do you guys manage to sort through all the codes and find what describes your fic?
Do twitterfiction and microfiction have a place on AFF.net?

Yeah, there's a little site for twitterfiction that inspired me to make this topic. http://twitter.com/twitterfiction
Well, I don't actually plan to post up any twitterfiction, but I did put up some microfics that seemed to do decently, at least as far as the Rate system goes.
