I was watching some show on the Discovery Channel and they showed these frogs, I don't know what kind they were in particular, but they carry their young on their back; <I can feel myself getting creeped out already> when they're born, they come out of these 'holes' on the frog's back. That just scared me so much, I had to sleep with the lights on for 2 nights. Anytime I felt something on my back, I was just so freaked that it was going to be a frog-baby climbing out of some hole...

MY niece also has a deck... I gave them to her for Christmas one year. She didn't even open them in front of me. I don't even know if she ever learned how to 'tarot' or not. Ah, well, I spoil her anyway. That's what we aunts are for.

Because you consumed in excess, you meet your fate beneath the cold, dirty rain, amidst the other souls that there lay unhappily in the stinking mud. Cerebus, a canine monster cruel and uncouth with his three heads and red eyes, dwells in this level. He growls and tears at the damned with his teeth and claws. And I just thought I was more of a little angel than that!

Hi all... I'm Slowhand (obviously) and I'm female, a lot of people think I'm male because of the name. I just like Eric Clapton and his music a lot! So that's why I use the handle... Anyway, I'm a moderator on a different forum that's mostly anime-based, and I've been coming here quite frequently for almost 2 years (as a reader). I've decided that I'd like to leave some reviews and/or feedback. I'm not much of a writer, so I hope that I haven't broken any rules by signing up. About 10 years ago, I did write a fic about MacGyver, but that was waaaay before I knew about Fan Fiction and before I ever knew places such as this existed. The only people who have read it are my sister, my hubby and my best friend. Of course, they all said it was wonderful. Not biased at all... I seem to be quite a bit older than most of the rest of the people on this forum, so I'll just say that I am legal in all 50 states. I'm a homemaker, retired from my job, so I basically just stay at home on the computer all day. When I'm not moderating or reading fan fics, I'm working on my family's genealogy. I have 2 inside cats, and I take care of a colony of 8 outside cats. Since I don't have any children, these are my babies! I'm glad I finally took this final step and joined and, like I said before, I don't think that I'll be doing any writing and I hope that it's not breaking any rules. I'm sure someone will let me know if it is. The things I like to read are mostly yaoi... and I read in a number of places... FullMetal Alchemist, Gravitation, Loveless, Inuyasha, Bleach, Fake, Cain/Godchild, Cowboy Bebop, and a few others. I would also read Gorgeous Carat but sadly there aren't any here... there are a few on Fan Fiction.net however... those guys are really hot! (and I'm old enough to know it!!) So... there you have it. My life in a nutshell. If you don't kick me out, I hope to spend many days here. See ya!
