hey everyone, I'm sure this seems like a childish question to all of the more experienced online writers, but I've mostly stuck with writing on paper and therefore am slighlty clueless when it comes to posting stories online. Can someone tell me how to make my writing in html? My italicized and bolded words don't show up when I post them

1. Looking for a beta with good grammar as well as someone who can help with creative input. 2.This is a Harry Potter fanfic with Draco and Hermione as the main characters. 3. The story I am working on takes place in their 7th year at Hogwarts, with Hermione as Head Girl and Draco as a prefect. Eventually there will be a wizarding war but that will come later in the story.
