  1. I read a one shot story of this type. Hermione has a detention with Snape. When she arrives, she finds Draco and Lucius there as well. Draco has her first, then Lucius, then Snape, then Snape and Lucius together. I thought it was on Restricted Section, but I haven't been able to turn it up. No idea of the title. Maybe this will jog someone's memory.

  2. With the closing of Restricted Section to new stories and additions, some stories have stopped in the middle or so.

One of them is a Luna/Draco fic called "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" by Raven Romance. Somewhere the author has stated that there was an earlier version of the story put up somewhere else, possibly under a different author name.

In the story Luna is raped on several occasions by Malfoy and she hides this fact from everyone else. Eventually Harry finds out about it. On RS, the story ends at about that point.

Does anyone know where the earlier version was posted and is it still up? While the RS version is explicit, I think the earlier wasn't as much so, to meet the site requirements. I'd like to find out how the story turns out.

  3. I'm looking for one that came out in the last year, maybe the last few months.

Set during the Deathly Hallows time period. Hermione, Luna and another female (Ginny?) are captured by Snape, Fenrir Greyback and another male. The blurb implied non-con naughtyness ensued. I tried a wild card search with Greyback on Restricted Section and it didn't come up. Going through the recent Threesome/Moresome and the Het General sections here didn't turn it up either, so I assume it's somewhere else.

    Ring a bell with anyone?

  4. OK, Fixed now.

Sorry to be thread hijacking, but this is the most recent one that I can access.

Could someone tell me what's going on here on the forum? When I try to open most threads, all I get is a blank white page. I assume it's something to do with the skin change I can see there are topics for, but I can't actually read anything. It happens with both my Mozilla browers and IE6. Is there something I can do to fix it for me? Is there an off-forum place this is being discussed? I know there used to be one of some sort, but I don't know where it is.

In case this thread turns invisible after I post this, could someone please e-mail me a response at blarp333 at yahoo dot com.

Again, apologies for the thread hijacking and thank you.

  5. Yep, there can be many different reasons for not updating.

    Examples:

"The Best of a Bad Situation" by Rosswrock. The author joined the Navy and has little time for writing fanfic. Hopefully, he'll finish it when his enlistment is up.

"The Missing Bits" by me. Quite simply, my creativity has wandered off and shows little sign of coming back. I had an initial burst of creativity when I first started writing fanfic a few years ago, but after about 6-8 months, it has pretty much died. These days all I get in the way of story ideas are for poor PWP and not much of that.

  6. I wrote a story with a non-con theme (not posted here) and an aftermath portion. I had originally intended to have a segment on the character being healed, so to speak, a few months later. When I tried to write it, I realized it was unrealistic and finally stopped the story at the end of the rape.

My only other fic with non-con has the victim still traumatized some time later.

It's up to each author how they handle it, but expect to get complaints if it isn't handled in a reasonable manner.

Also, no, I don't think written non-con fiction encourages real life rape. I've read many murder mysteries, but I haven't murdered anyone, I swear.

  7. Probably not it, but what the heck. The first sounds like a combination of a couple of fics.

    Understanding Wizards by Tarie.

    http://hp.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600005793

And one of mine I was inspired to write by Tarie's. I did it with a Het/Femmeslash angle. I've only put it up on my LJ page and it's friends locked, so unless you're one of my friends under a different name, you wouldn't have read it. However, Lavender wasn't part of the action, though Ron was.

Wouldn't surprise me if the story you're looking for was inspired by either the same picture that Tarie's was or her story.

Maybe this will jog someone's memory

    No idea on #2.

  8. A bit late joining in on this topic, but what the hell.

I've found people answering reviews in their story really annoying. Distracts greatly from the flow of it.

I answer reviews in the reviews section. I try to make sure and address the specific person I'm responding to so it doesn't end up looking random.

The answering a review as an addition to the review would be nice if doable. It works that way for the stories I have on Sycophant Hex and is a nice feature.

A related question. Would it possible to have a link to the reviews for a story in each chapter? Like we do for the 'author', 'review fic' and 'next chapter' ? As it is now, if you want to read the reviews for a story, you have to either go back to the category listing for the story and go from there or go to the author's fic list and go to them that way.

  9. If by unorthodox, you mean unlikely to ever happen in real life, then yea. Does that bother me? No.

I recognize that they are just fantasies. If I ever tried making them reality, they would likely come up short of what I had imagined and probably land me in jail.

  10. I've had no luck so far....maybe someone else with fresh eyes can see what I missed?

I've been looking for these for a while. The first one was pretty poorly written and may have gotten so many negative comments that it was taken down. The other two were good, so I don't know why they disappeared. They may have permanently gone missing.

    Thanks for trying.

  11. Since the Searching for Fics sections in the Archives are soon to be removed, I thought I'd repost these here.

PWP one shot. It's a Harry/Hermione pairing. First time sex. Fairly short, probably less than 3,000 words. The outstanding things about it were the complete lack of characterization and the extremely filthy dialogue from Hermione. Said dialogue (cleaned up for posting on other sites with language restrictions as well as here) went something like this: Bleep me, Harry! Bleep me, bleep me, bleep me! Bleep my bleep bleep, you bleeping bleep! And so on and on... I think you can guess the words.

The next fic is also being looked for by a 'net pal and it's her description of it below:

Maybe I'm losing it, but I swear I read a Hermione/Draco fic, in which she's on a date at the Three Broomsticks and Draco comes up to her and "takes" over her mind. And him and Blaise have their wicked way with her. I wanted to call it "Of Mudbloods and Mind Control," but I'm not sure. I read it as well, but I can't remember where. Hermione masturbates herself to orgasm IIRC. There's little or no actual physical contact between the three. It's not "Full of Fun". Thanks for trying, JAB88.

This one is a one shot fic. Has the pairings Lucius/Hermione and Harry/Draco. Takes place at the Malfoy mansion. In the story Harry and Draco overhear Lucius and Hermione having sex and doing a fair amount of talking during. Harry and Draco don't really do anything but talk. Narcissa comes home at the end. Generally light in tone.

  12. Four that always struck me as being very sad:

"Is She Really Going Out With Him" Joe Jackson

"Husbands and Wives" Roger Miller (Someone covered this in the past few years.)

"Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town" Kenny Rogers and the First Edition

"With Pen in Hand" Vikki Carr or Bobby Goldsboro

  13. I'm nearly incapable of taking steps one at a time. I must do two at once.

I hate stairs with uneven numbers of steps...

When going up or down stairs, I have to end on my right foot. If I don't, I'll feel 'off' until I hop on one foot to balance things out. For stairs that I use regualrly, I'll remember which foot to start on to end up on the right at the top/bottom.

  14. It's Snape/Hermione. It is a color image. Would be about an R rating. S/H are 'doing the deed'. No actual naughty bits shown, but there's no doubt about what they're doing.

Snape is lying on the floor on his back. Hermione is above him with her back towards him, supporting herself on her hands and feet. Snape is thrusting upwards towards her. She's wearing a school uniform in Slytherin colors. Snape is at least partly nude and is drawn as being fairly taut. His facial features lean towards Alan Rickman, but it isn't an exact likeness. Much the same for Hermione, though less of a resemblance to Emma, IIRC. Very well drawn in a realistic style. Hermione looks to be in her late teens/early twenties. I first came across it 2-3 years ago. It used to come up in my art searches, but I'm not seeing it now. I don't know who the artist is. It was a medium to large sized image.

I think it was drawn to accompany a fanfic, but I'm not certain.

    Ring a bell with anyone?

Still looking for the fic, if any. Would like to know the name of the artist. I can't make it out on the drawing.

ETA: The artist is Marquise. For some reason she used differing names when signing her artwork, but it was one of hers.

  15. It would be a much shorter list to come up with stories that have genuinely *good* titles. Does anyone know of *one*?

Blowing my own horn a bit here, but I come up with good titles more often than not, (I think).

    For my own stuff:

"The Missing Bits" A bit of double entendre.

"Terms of Payment" Wherein Snape explains just what the terms are.

"The Regret of Argus Filch" One where I think I got the title just right. Not many people have read the story though.

"I Blame Ron Jeremy" Unfortunately, I don't think enough people know who Ron Jeremy is these days.

"Lavender Takes the Lead" Title is probably better than the story. I like the alliteration.

"Afraid to be Beautiful" Sounds unlikely, but is intriguing, I hope.

"A Short Journey" Again, I was going for intriguing.

"Train of Thoughts" Metaphorical and it takes place on a train.

"Making Things a Little Bit Better" Not as happy as it might sound.

Just to show they aren't all gems:

"3 HP Shorts" Well, that's what it is.

"Hermione Plus" The good ones that fit the situation had already been used.

    Other peoples:

"Frogs in Winter" by LadyoftheMasque. A bit of obscure quoting and a very funny story.

"Corsicuum" by LotM again. Sounds naughty.

"In the Sex" by Qestral. A fine, intriguing one.

"Crumpled" by Antosha. Snorkacks? Yup. Antosha is consistently good on titles.

"External Penetration" by Argyle_S. I just had to find out what that meant.

"Strings of Pearls and Copper Curls" by Aspen. Erotic references.

"The Best of a Bad Situation" by RossWrock. Harry certainly does make the title.

"Harry Potter and the Infernal Plan" by Jori. Another one where I just had to find out what it meant.

"Harry Potter and the Things You Just Don't Joke About" by Metafrantic. Another one who is consistently good on titles.

"Harry Potter and the Casanova Potion" By H. Dragonfly. Who could resist a title like that? Not me.

  16. Seventeen days ago, I started posting my new fic. A week ago, I posted the fourth chapter, and as of last check, it's gotten an additional 134 hits. This, for me, is huge, and leaves me quite pleased, yet totally mystified. I'll explain; the first story I posted, fifteen months ago, has something like 870 hits. This new one, so far, is going gangbusters. And I haven't even gotten to the meatiest parts yet! (Which, incidentally, is killing me. I'm driving myself crazy wanting to post the next two). Anyhoo...

Has anyone had this experience before? I'm still writing in the same archive, HP, but a different pairing. Think that has something to do with it? It's really the only change I made, I haven't drastically changed my writing style or anything.

Hmmm. It might be your pairing. I see most of your other stories feature a Snape /OFC matchup. Maybe the Lucius fans are more accepting of an OFC?

I do think who the main character is can make a big difference in the number of hits a story gets. For example, my story, "The Regret of Argus Filch" has the lowest number of hits of any story I have on here, but I think it's one of my best. On the other hand, another story of mine, "Train of Thoughts" which I think is mediocre at best, has more hits than any of my other one shots. I attribute the difference to the character pairing. Harry/Hermione/Ginny vs. Filch.

BTW, thanks for the review on "Regret". biggrin.gif

  17. That's because too many of them are "marriage law" or "truth or dare" fics. Then there are the fics where Hermione gets both of 'em.

I actually quit the Hermione/Twins fics before I came across any of the 'marriage law' or 'truth or dare' fics for that pairing, though I think all of them had her with both of them. I actually like the twins with other females. I've enjoyed reading them paired with Angelina, Luna, Fleur and the Patil Twins. The Patil Twins seems like such a natural matchup for them to me, but I very rarely come across it.

  18. Yes, finally, the last person who joined these boards in its early days has reached the 1000 post mark.

    I prefer quality over quantity.

    Big deal.

Hey, I joined only 3 days after you and at the time this post is being written, I haven't even reached 70 posts yet. I'm really lagging behind. Meh, story of my life.
