Anyone remember or know? They live in a castle and stuff. Or mansion.

Basically a girl gets stuck on the side of the road. A man picks her up. He's death or something. She was on the run because she killed her boyfriend. She saves the guy's soul then kills him and they both die. It's really dark and I wanted to re-read it. Thanks!!! <3
