What a way to force users to come the forum section! This is actually quiet cool however, you have to log in and I don't think a lot will actually do it...that's my opinion anyways. So since I'm here....I would like to discuss the LOYAL & TRUE. I have recieved a number of emails from readers bemoaning the fact that they are not LOYAL nor TRUE and that the dessert cart will not entertain their suggestions. What do I have to say to that? Pshaw!! You read moi. You write to moi. You are even secretive and ANON but hey, you are LOYAL! As I have mentioned in the RANTs section (How do I write? Are you kidding me!!) that all authors (look I'm an author now, gigagity gigagity goo) appreciate anyone who clicks on the story to begin with. The fact that the hit counter is going up is gratifying. In order to improve the story and writing skills, feedback is necessary. Those who take the time to drop a line, poke with a sharp stick, point out plot bunnies and various inconsistencies as well as bitch are important. Writing is a solitary journey. My early work, while I won't say sucks rocks, is very dry. *ptooy...spitting dust* I have noticed that since coming online and especially finding AFF, my writing style has changed and improved. This instant gratification works for moi. Besides, I don't like long lonely journeys. I have a clown car -- just keep hopping in. Errr...I think you would rather be known as LOYAL rather than CLOWNS. *bwahhhahaha* Crap. If you made here and are reading this little drabble. You are LOYAL. And about that other stuff, about not entertaining suggestions for the dessert cart. I'm lazy. You know that right. Just poke me once in a while, make sure I'm not dead. I am sooooo loving Sex and Claudius dynamic right now. They are the easiest to write at the moment. Skell...good ole Skell is filling the head space now because of Hashmalliam's moment in the sun. But I definately like S & C. Liam and Hades are so messed up right now...I have no idea if they are ever going to be right. Oh well....time to get back to writing.

K and the Destroyer of Nations (originally posted in Rants) How do you stop a train? How do you stop Darth Vader? How do you stop Superman? Well you derail a train. You use the Light side of the Force. You use kryptonite. Whatever you do will leave that item and icon in ruins. Now, why did I start off saying that? Skell -- Our lovely, newest edition to the Brotherhood of Von Drachenfeld is all of the above. He is the product of his raising. He has suckled on Orel Wessel’s withered teat and has learned that force and pain are acceptable means to an end. He can snap a Vampire’s neck without a second thought. He can beat down Lycan because his “sense” of honor was besmirched. He is a mixture of the Brotherhood and at the same instance he is his own individual. Have I lost you yet? Skell’s value system is at the opposite end of the spectrum of Xavier. Even Azrael’s own values do not go as far down as Skell’s. (Which is why Az can’t be Hashmalliam) And the final kicker is that Orel Wessel taught him to follow the letter of the law/rules, and that was a lesson he has learned hard. Case in point, Skell was late for curfew and Darius was killed. So to him, rules are in place and they must be enforced – with whatever means necessary. [The ends justify the means mentality.] K as always has made me think – yet again. Q: I’m starting to find it more difficult to follow ‘your’ of the brother’s reasoning. The whole last chapter is a testament to their incapability of ruling the Nation. They are mixing House, family and court-affairs. That is not a good thing for an emperor…” Now, the Brotherhood has never been given the Lord Emperor’s dummies guide to ruling. Liam who was supposed to be assisting them, basically turned into a sex freak and ended up in Hades bed before Orel Wessel took advantage of Sex’s little meltdown. Why is X giving Skell the run of the mansion, so to speak? Gratitude and Guilt. He is thankful that Skell survived and in turn kept the fallen brothers alive for five years and he bears of guilt of falling under the onslaught. Sex did a little freefall and is under harsh and severe sanctions. Az, well he’ll do something and X will call him on it. Skell…Skell is acting on the brother’s darkest desires and they are letting him. This cannot continue. Skell has had little to no socialization skills at all. He is an immortal entity with unimaginable powers now that he was feed and blooded up. I think the only Vampires who could possibly stand up to him now are Claudius, as Carnage and Hades. Claudius might have the get of jail free card because Sex loves him and Skell admires Sex as the original brother and as the Christmas tree of their pod. Hades would get hand of lighted without a second thought. (Flambed little shepherd boy with a charbroiled lambchop on the side.) Skell laying down the law in such a harsh and unforgiving manner is setting a formidable reputation for Lord Emperor Xavier the First. This is going to cause a ripple effect through the Vampire Nation leadership, the Hunters, the Eastern Lycan and the rest of the Blood Nations. And…as K pointed out “To the outer world they are one. Their acting so differently makes them appear unstable – a nut case.” The Vampire Nation has lived through one fruitcake of an Emperor in Sigmund. I doubt that they are willing to go through another batty Von Drachenfeld, even if there are four-in-one. So Skell has set the House of Von Drachenfeld on the path to Emperorship whether the other brothers wanted to take over the ruling of the whole Nation or not. But please remember, at the Brotherhood’s core is the desire to save lost fledglings from Orel Wessel. This just might not be the best way to get there. Give me your thoughts….as always. Kiix

eek. I started this then life kicked in and I just back here today...three weeks later. Hi, BCM. I sorrily (don't know if its a real word but that has never stopped me before) miss your epic reviews. Glad you still with me. I find it absolutely fascinating how people think -- especially of these fictional characters. I mussed with Hades....oops. Almost as bad as the attempting to kill Claudius episode. I guess it just means that I have done something right. Thanks for the drops and votes LOYAL!!!

I would love to hear your thoughts on the subject. As the follow up after the fight is being bitchy right now to write. SPOILER ALERT!!!!! OOOHHHGGGAAA OOOHHHGAA Summary: Lord Emperor Claudius the First VS Blood Emperor Xavier the First Sex and Sasha have an all out battle then ends up almost demolishing the newly build Warehouse. As they are both winged vampires, they take to the skys and seem to be evenly matched. Sex finds out that Skell has been blocking most of their power accidently and frees up a power spike. In the end, they are both knocked out of the sky, only Claudius is truly knocked out. Sex saves him from going splat on the ground. So both are laying there unconscious. Who is the winner? Is there a winner?

Hi I have only seen the anime and the ovas of Mirage of Blaze. I'd attempted to find some manga but...money and location had limited my searches. So my question is....what the heck happened 400 years ago when Lord Kagetora died? There are hints that Naoe is in stalker love with him in the present reincarnation but this seems to have ties back to the past. They were in opposite camps in the war for head of the kenshin army, Kagetora was captured and I think he used Naoe's fascnation to try and escape? I don't know. It gave me chills when Naoe said to the body "You're mine, I won't let you go." creepy chills but still. I would like to find out. The fanfiction I find, just pick up the obsessive relationship. I've just recently joined the forum and I am absolutely fascinated by everything I'm reading regarding the revelations of other writers -- specially slash writers. I didn't even know there was a term for what I was writing. I just thought I was strange and took my little scribblings and hid them away for my own enjoyment. Then I found AFF and I'm posting!! In my original works, I would say I write First Person narrative about 90% of the time. I have done third, but I feel too distanced from the story. When I do get the inspiration for fanfics, I have to do 3rd person limited because these are not my characters and I don't feel right messing with them outside of the storyline I discovered them in. My First Person stories can get emotional, and they are all over the map. Oh, I write slash vampire fiction. So it deals with relationships, intimacy, sex, love, and the role of the fictional society to the characters. As I don't pre-plot (I have the beginning, the climax, and the ending) my first person character is just stumbling along in his life from point A to point B and eventually ending up where I wanted them at the end. So, it's a lot reaction and consequences that have to be dealt with. I'll shut up now. Kiix

One brother is in the body. That brother can mindwalk. The other 3 are just hanging out at the beach If the body brother is incapacitated then someone else can step up. I have mentioned before that the different Blood nations have been known to interbreed but that it is usually not Vampire or Lycan. Not that they can't, they are usually at war with each other. Vampire + human female = human but a vampire gene carrier Vampire + human male = baby fang (sliding down the red scale/pink) Vampire + Lycan female = lycan, never will be an alpha Vampire + Lycan male = vampire (lowest of the pink range) Lycan + human female = natural werewolf (can breed with other werewolves -- these were the families that Alarik and his cronies were wiping out.) Lycan + human male = lycan, will never be an alpha The fact that Vladimir got himself 'fixed' to to make sure that the legitimacy of Xavier's children will never be questioned. This leaves it up to Claudia if she wants more winglets through the same means. I hope this helps!

I was sitting here going...la de dah..life is swell and then I got blindsided with another string of queries. Gack, I love it. My immediate response was nope. Can't happen. Never, uhnhn...then Now, I'm saying crap. Damn it. Yes, I did have Sex in control of the body after X drank himself into a stupor on top of the ferris wheel. The imagery of Az being pissed at X while standing on the wheel support while staring into the setting sun is sort of iconic so I'm stuck. My original thoughts were that the brothers used the body singly. While in the real world, they have the mindwalking ability as part of this reality. Truthfully they are just complete spirits/thoughts in the dark and on the beach. The have no form but what their "core" gives them. (which is why each brother is different. I am basing this off of their soul/identity/character) The original concept was "You can only have one peg in a hole at a time." So now I have created a little problem for myself. I hate using "Kiix says so" so here is a plausible explanation--I hope. The brothers have shown that they can interchange at will. They have also shown that if the one in the real world is unconscious, they can take over. So my thoughts are that since Xavier had drank himself to the verge of passing out, in a dangerous place that if he fell be might actually die, this allowed Sex and Az to materialize like specters. Just like ghosts, they could make some effect in the real world but not a strong presence or a prolonged one. This time, they just kept X from falling off the ferris wheel. It didn't prevent X from hurling all over Claudius' shoes though. I don't have the exact part in front of me right at the moment, but wasn't X able to see through Azrael? I hope so, that would fix this little conundrum. As for being in each other's back pocket...I've addressed this in Clove chapter 154: Golden Phoenix Now, Marcus. Marcus, Marcus, Marcus. I finally got him loveable again. What was that? 100 chappies to get him forgiven. Whew! I thought Hades and Liam were worse but the LOYAL forgave them so easily and my poor poor Puppy was left out in the cold. Marcus is a red vampire. Sucking on Honeybee would get him stronger, but we all know that that is not going to happen. Liam wouldn't allow it. Even if he got some blue genes from Claudius he is still a scarlet flame -- although still an upper level red. In the evolution of the brothers 4, Marcus and Armor will not be getting an upgrade. He is red. There is no way for him to move up to Crimson Flame (well Hades, and that isn't going to happen) (listen to me, I said there wasn't going to be another brother for X and the boys--gees) Marcus and Armor will work toward a better relationship and will begin to see brotherhood as a thing to strive for.
