  1. How can you start a story and not update for months? Better question- why on earth would it take someone years to write a fanfic?

I fall in love with what I'm writing, and never want to stop until I'm done. I force myself to take a break so that I can feed the kids, and give them a bath so they don't look like welfare recipients.

I've written 28 stories, two of which are very very long, in under two years.

    I just don't understand... blink.gif

  2. I tend to write a lot of dialogue. I know some people have a problem writing it, but I find it easy for some reason. There are times when I'm a bit to descrpitive and then other times when I lack it.

I don't like to write in one person's view for an entire one-shot or even a chapter. I've tried but it's just not my thing! I do pride myself on coming up with unique plots and ideas.

  3. My chapters range from 2,000 words to sometimes over 8,000! I just keep going until it seems like a good place to stop. Since I tend to make up a story as I go along, I never can tell how many chapters I will end up with. I do like to end it on an even number though. My very fist fic was 35 chapters long but only 60,000 some words long. The moster one I just recently finished this summer was over 200,000 words long but only 28 chapters in length.

  4. I've never really gotten stupid reviews on AFF, but I have gotten some flames and stupid reviews at other sites. It used to piss me off and I'd relatiate with my own creative insults, but I've matured and now I just ignore them. Sometimes, it still hurts my little feelings though... sad.gif
