  1. Hello all! This is just to tell you that another awesome short story has been added to my archive on Gamble With Fate, as well as more chapters to my brain child, An Indigo Feather. The first two chapters are on this site in the slash section. Feel free to look for it. More stories are being added. We need more people who will tell us what they think to come by. Thanks if you do! http://www.gamblewithfate.com

  2. Here's the deal, Lacey Grey and myself have a site going on strictly for the slash reader's enjoyment. If you are 18 or over and enjoy good slash, I would love for you to pop by. I suggest checking us out and seeing if you like anything we have to offer. Most sites such as ours upload once a week. We are two so there are more stories and we update twice a week. That's definately more bang for your buck people. Come by, I'd love to hear from you! http://www.gamblewithfate.com

  3. so at the moment i am working at making a novel....i'm at the research stage and i have so much left to read up on (since the story takes place in another century) but i want to write NOW! i have dreams about the story and have days where the juices are just pumping and i just feel so alive and just want to write! But i kind of think i'm not ready but I want sooooo badly to be...should I start and keep doing the research inbetween or take a long period of time to research?

Also how do I get started? I want the first paragraph to be amazing (as the rest of the book) but how do i get inspired?

How do I organize my ideas?

should I make different drafts of the first paragragh?

Please give a desperate writer your advice!

Get it all out - fix later. That's the beauty of editing. biggrin.gif I've waited and regretted before. Now I have 100 page's worth of a fantasy novel that probably won't ever be finished. sad.gif

  4. Pandering to the audience is never that great of an idea. Write however you want, whatever you deem necessary for your story. Erotic does not always mean sex, remember that. The truly sexy stuff, in my humble opinion, is the inuendo and tension leading up to the sex scene. I wish I was good enough of a writer to accomplish every sex scene without having to go action by action and still have a satisfying moment between characters and writers. It makes for a more serious story. I mean have you read Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty trilogy? It's rubbish, plain and simple. Three books worth of just sex and hardly any plot.

  5. I like talk about these series and nobody has no clue what they are. For example, TACTICS, does anybody know what it is? Has anybody heard of it? Another one is E's Otherwise, do you guys know? Or how about Karin (chibi vampire)?

Do you guys know this stuff? Or do you guys suffer the same thing i do? Telling people of series you love but they have no clue? sad.gif

I've finished Tactics. The graphics are beautiful and the story was very interesting, but then again, I enjoy anything that ties in mythology and folklore. The characters were interesting as well. Kantarou is adorable. smile.gif

The other ones I haven't heard of.

  6. Saiyuki - Sanzo/Gojyo. I just don't see it.

    And

Weiss Kreuz - Yohji/Aya. I hate that pairing, so much. They're both too much the seme of a yaoi relationship and there isn't much story or charisma between the two, in my opinion.

Haha, the wierdest pairing I have ever seen is Goku from DBZ and...Gackt Camui. So bizarre and just...wrong. biggrin.gif
