Max does screw around, hell he's got three pregnant women with him. The petra thing is just a damaged girl finding herself again, getting her self confidence back, she's bound to step over the line now and again, remember Amy did as well. And don't forget Max, he promised to talk to them about how he's feeling and he's not, so Emma can be forgiven for not knowing what he's thinking all the time. This is just the crap that couples go through, say something insensitive, get snapped at, feel bad, then appologize...having everything all roses and sunshine would be nice, but its not beleivable.

No worries, I like the questions, helps to ort out characters in my mind. In fact people have found quite a few errors for me, I was recovering from surgery when I wrot BITG so there were a few confusing moments in there. Plus I really like the suggestions, I use them more than people think, had some really good ideas from readers - such as letting Jane become Amy and Alices little girl, thanx for that one by the way
And I'm glad you like the story, I know it's a little rough in places but most readers said they'd rather I write more than I edit so I've missed a few things along the way. Besides I like writing so much more than edditing

Don't use the damn balistic computer either...takes too damn long. I learned my craft when sniping was an art, you had to have skill, not just push a button.
My shot was with an old Barret's bolt action single shot, and it was a snapshot, less than five seconds from aquiring the target to putting it down - I did have a really good spotter though, that helps a lot. he gave me spot on distance and windage.
Oh these kids today...clicky here and clicky there and then the wind chages and they have to get the computer to redo everything and thirty minutes later they're ready to shoot...but the target went home and is having lunch!

My best shot was just a hair under a mile, spotter called it 1600 meters, give or take, Think there was a little (ok a lot) of luck involved.

No, Petra is going to stay with Max and emme, sort of as a mirror to Rick, Suzy and Tatiana. Although she will start to spend more time with the twins and Cat will probably spend more time with Jane, Amy, and Alice

Should post sometime in te next couple of days if nothing major in the real world comes up
