I find myself with strange problems sometimes, too. Mostly that I can't write hot sex if I've just been laid. And if I'm braindead, forget about plot development.

YES! Me too! Lol. I've been writing a lot of happy mushy teen rated stories and its driving me nuts! Lol. I'm happy...I'm not used to this! I used to make people cry with my angst now I can't do it. :/

I had similar problems adjusting. I can still do angst if I'm sad, anger if I'm mad or darkly amused. It's just that my writing focuses mostly on making people laugh in whatever creative ways I can find. It takes more time to write anything other than humor, though.

It happens. Take a break, then, and go do something else you enjoy for a while.

I find I have to keep mine in jungle gyms and mine fields; they get bored and wander otherwise.

Yeah, my family's not usually bad at it, either, but my back was all sorts of messed up, so we had to call on help. Normally I can pop my back with some twisting or stretching, maybe a little heat where needed, but that time it all failed and I was having a hard time popping my neck, too, so my family couldn't help.

Lol, I don't mind ducks, but I'm more of a dog/cat lover, and if it doesn't eat some meat I generally don't understand it. People as well as animals. Not always, but as a general rule....

My go-to music when I'm mad is Puddle of Mudd, Nine Inch Nails, and some of Nickelback's louder songs. Blast that until I'm half deaf and suddenly I feel cheerful again. Hard on my ears, though, so I try to let go of my anger first.
