Hello: Since I have been recently reading about the CC debacle from 2000, I have began to wonder if I am guilty of Plagiarism in my Harry Potter / Jane Austen crossover I named The Joke Book Trap. The reason why I am concerned, is even though I have used both Jane Austen's world and some of her dialog noted in my disclaimer, I have failed to mark the dialog and reference the page numbers or even chapter numbers the dialog came from in Pride and Prejudice. I understand why and agree with the removal of plagiarized items from AFF Archives. I am asking because if I am guilty of it in this particular fiction and require proper citations in my author notes, I am happy to go back through and add those notations. I do not believe I was attempting to pass off her dialog as my own and that I made enough reference in my narrative that Hermione was staying on Script or Draco for that matter. I admit that anytime I have borrowed JK Rowling dialog I have added an * and noted the chapter and book it was taken from in my Author notes at the end of the chapter. Thank you, Talis Ruadair

Much of the dialog while they are in the book is paraphrased or quoted from the original work unless Draco or Hermione deviate from the scripting or I present a situation not included in the work. Feedback: I am in the process of rewriting this fiction while I post it, as I received feedback from when it was previously posted elsewhere that Hermione seemed a bit OOC and that I may’ve make Draco’s reactions a bit unbelievable. I hope this new version remedies that situation.
