Well, Hermione don't have a choice but to stay. Voldemort would never let her leave. That's the sad part of the story. And well, Hermione is happy that Voldemort isn't going to kill Ginny, but she is not happy with the fact that he forced her to continue to have sex when she told him to get off. And she told him to get off because she was horrified that he said he would kill her friends. You'll see more of her emotional reaction in the coming chapter, so I hope that explains more of it! I don't think Luna cares about gender at all, so I guessed that in this story, it would just be fun to see her have a girlfriend... so she got one!
