Talk it out. Where are you stuck?

I'm having to rewrite a main plot point in a story because I did a prequel and used one of the bad guys in it and killed him though he had made his original appearance in this story that I'm stuck on. Granted it sucked and he did better in the prequel, but I'm having trouble getting the new action scenes to fit properly.
