Wildcatcdc Posted April 25, 2008 Report Share Posted April 25, 2008 This is a Draco/Hermione fic, with many BDSM elements, although most of it is along the lines of bondage and teasing, some minor flogging. Starts out sort of non-con, but that changes. It is a post-Hogwarts story, Draco is a widowed dominant, Hermione is a divorced closet submissive. He discovers her secret, and lures her to him online, without divulging his identity until the night she agrees to meet her potential Master. Mostly canon, though certainly not DH-epilogue compliant. I need to make sure I've got the characterization right, and Briticisms are a weak point of mine. Also could use another set of eyes to catch anything I may have missed. I'm a bit anal about proofing, but after a few times, you start to miss things. I am currently working on fleshing out the beginning, right now the lead-up to their meeting is in very rough draft form consisting of about a page and a half. I could use a little plot help with that part, I have some ideas, but not sure which way would best to get them to the "meat" of the story. I'm concerned that it may seem rushed, I'll admit that in some parts the pacing is definitely off. At this point, the story is mostly complete in second draft form, though I have a few ideas for continuing. I would need to bounce off plot ideas to see if I can make what I'm thinking about work in a longer story. Right now, I'm at about 12,000 words, have not broken it out by chapter yet, but it will probably end up four to five chapters when I do that. Couple of FYI's: I am totally unfamiliar with coding the file to upload, so advice with that would also be greatly appreciated. This is my first HP fic, though I have posted some Highlander fics under the same author name. Thanks so much to anyone who can help!
