The request is for someone to fill-in the details and make it more story like and stuff. The basic outline is thee following:

Since there is no imminent danger she goes looking for the ball; it's actually a "cryochronoton grenade" (or whatever technobabble you deem best), basicly when detonated it emits a burst of "supercooled" time thermo subparticles, it freezes time on the nearby atoms; after looking all over her room she goes to her window and catches a glimpse of Charlie entering his room coming from a shower, still glistening with water and surrounded in steam, he starts to dry himself without noticing her, when he reaches his crotch he starts to fluff himself up with the towel; he then throws the towel at the window, it catches on the handle and stays blocking the view for a few moments making her sigh and begin to resume looking for the cryochrono seeing if the fell out of her window but then the towel slips and falls, a blue distortion flashes from Charlie window, "oops"; the grenade flew thru both their windows and into his room, and the towel fell on it just the right way to arm and detonate it.
