Guest CreepingKate Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 While noodling around on deviant art, I came across a pic (by the tremendously talented bloo-chan) based on a zoofic called Somebody Once Loved. These kinds of fics started with a new LJ community called zoo_gnosis; and the premise is: in an AU, the canon characters of FMA look human and have the power of human speech, but they are animals. All these types: Elrics, Mustangs, Greeds, Bradleys, Lings, etc also have only one gender. To reproduce, one Elric will mate with another. So yeah, this genre is wholly in the yaoi/Elricest camp. But....it's inspired me to start thinking of a variation on this basic premise - but right now it's solely in my head, and will probably stay there for now. The story I read is rated for rape and kitten abuse, but the picture is very cute. Bloo-chan has a couple other pics in her gallery related to two other stories in this new community.
