I find original characters generally easier, or at least more pleasant, to write. I don't like playing in other peoples sand boxes, becuase if I mess up a character, fans get hissy. Its hard to write a character that hundreds of people have their own opinions perset on. Original characters, however, give me more freedom, and give me more satisfaction too when people like them. Yah, theres my two sense worth.

I am human, and as such, I like being praised by my peers. So yes, I get upset, and want to pull unreviewed stories. Not just here, but anywhere I post online. I would rather be told that there is somethign wrong with my story, then have nothing said at all. Especially when I have over like, 400 hits and 0 reviews, because then I have to think 'is everyone reading a few paragraphs, hating it, and running away?' I prefer concrit and semi-literate reviews over netspeak and one liners, but anything is better then nothing. Not to say that I am the best example of a reviewer, I admit to reading something, loving it, and not reviewing, for any number of reasons that, like someone befor eme said, are just excuses. I try to leave atleast one reveiw on the newest chapter or a WIP and one at the end of a Completed fiction, though, especially on less reviewed pieces

This, sadly, happens to me everytime I watch anything new, and some old things. IT rather annoys my friends, as a movie will come on, or a show, and I'l start going 'Oh, he and he need to get jiggy with it' or 'they are so having sex behind the scenes.' It happened this week, when a friend made me watch/listen to Gorillaz, and last week watching Emperors New Grove. Come one, you know its bad when your getting ideas for Disney or Pixar.

Who ever talked about Mag 7 is a Holy Warrior-you NEVER see enough fans. Ahem. I got into slash in a odd way, actually. My dad got me the main three Dragonriders of Pern books, which have mention of 'slash' in them, in a way. I got curious. But it wasn't until a few months later when I started High School and bumped into a girl reading FF8 yaoi/slash and asked what it was that I really discvoered and was hooked on slash fiction. Now I am known by most of my friends as the Slash Whore @@ my how things change. I love way to many fandoms and pairings... FF7 is my main true love, with TsengXReno, RenoXReeve, and CidXVinnie as my pairings. I'm not a Naruto or Inu fan, but I do like YYH and Weiss Kruez (Anything with Schuldig gets me). Right now I am on a One Piece and TRC hype though. Slash wise, I like Mag 7 CSI and HP, and am pretty flexable. If anyone wants a wicked crossover fic, read the Denuo Archive-it is the best fanfic I have read in my decade long internet career.

I'm not just inspired by authors or books, so much as life, and mythology, but there are certainly some authors and book series that have inspired me in my life. God, how to do this without listing every author I love? Hmmmm I guess, writing wise, I have most been inspired by: Anne Mccaffery and here Dragonrider's series is a big influence, more so on my desire to write then my style. Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, with their Noble Dead series, for making me think outside the box, and having wonderful wording and amazing scenes that jump out at you. Amazing authors. Mickey Zucker Reichert. Not a big popular guy, but his Flightless Falcon book has a wonderful way of doing third person and still giving you a first person feel-like the character is really writing the book or something. Recently, Jim Butcher has stolen my soul and put me in awe. I think, since I started reading his books this past year, I have become a better, and more enjoyable, writer. (Yes, I am being a bit flighty here )

Now this looks interesting. I will have to look at some of the offerings on this thread I love the crazies, and have a few mad sceitnist OC my self...hmm...now I am tempted to do a one shot MS porn too....
