I know that's a really weird format for people to read, but we are working on getting it to flow better as a story; however no one is really reviewing it and giving us pointers on the writing so we aren't sure what to edit and fix to make it better. We really love this story and our characters and we really want others to read it and enjoy it as much as we do writing it, so we could really use an outside perspective on what we could do to edit it and make the story flow better. So I'm currently writing (not posted/published yet) a story about a young man being given to a Capo of the Italian mafia in order to help forgive a debt his adopted parents owe. But the young man isn't exactly human, he's half merman. I like taking pretty common plots and giving them a bit of a supernatural twist to try and make it into something original. However I can see that sometimes that would just be kind of weird and stupid. I've only written about 23 pages and before I write anymore, is this a bad/insane/stupid idea?

Okay I need help naming an original story It is a slash pairing so MxM. It's set in a futuristic world, but the plot is primarily supernatural. (this is what I was thinking for a summary) A demon is sent on a mission to retrieve a sacred book that was stolen from his master, a monk. Before he embarks on his mission his master tells him to find someone that will be able to help him on his search. He didn't expect that person to be a foul mouthed outlaw with a bounty on his head. Lots of fun gadgets, fighting, black market dealings ei crime drama, bounty hunters, demons and the like! So I need a title that will grab peoples attention and maybe a much better summary because this is my second attempt at a story on this site and my first one is a major flop Help would be much appreciated if more info is needed I will gladly give it but please help out a poor newb yes?

I need a beta that can bring detail and life into my story, as it is now, it's much like a skeleton. I need someone that can go into detail, someone that will make the reader feel as if they are there with the characters and someone that will also be honest with me about my writing style (Which I know isn't very good. It's perfectly literate but...blah) My story is an original work, What Makes a Monster? What Makes a Human? It has four chapters currently published and has received a few ratings, but zero reviews.
