Hello, I am a third year history major/ English minor who is looking to beta stories. I have been reading fanfic for about three years now. I really enjoy reading Harry Potter and Buffy/Angel stories, as well as Southern Vampire Mysteries. I would prefer to edit Het stories but an not adverse to Slash. My grammar and editing skill are quite good as I have, for the past two years, peen an editor at university, offering free editing services to first year students in my fields. The main reason that I want to beta is because sometimes I see really great stories that have been published, but have not been edited, and it makes them almost unbearable to read, in my opinion. I would love to edit these stories to make it so that more people will read the great stories without having to get hung up on grammar and spelling errors. I am also adept at reworking sentences, phrases, paragraphs...etc, so that they make more sense, or just sound better, while still keeping the integrity of the idea. As I stated above I am a HUGE Harry Potter and Buffyverse fan, so am very knowledgeable on the cannon of those worlds and would also be able to spot and mistakes that are made in that regard.
